Requirements for renting a car with Prime Auto Rents in Mexico

The minimum age to rent a car is 18 years old. An additional fee will apply to young drivers between 18 and 24 years old.

Governmental identification (INE voter ID or passport for Mexican citizens) and passport or passport number for foreigners.

Valid driver's license.

The registered driver must present a driver's license issued by the country of residence.The license must be issued by the same federal entity as the official identification.

Prime Auto Rents reserves the right to refuse to rent a vehicle if any of our rental requirements are not met.

Credit or debit card in the name of the renter. This must be presented to begin the rental. Accepted payment methods are: American Express, Visa, and Mastercard. Prime Auto Rent reserves the right to accept or reject certain credit cards that are in poor condition or illegible.

Prime Auto Rent reserves the right to refuse to rent a vehicle if any of our rental requirements are not met.
